F is for FEED your baby.
Full Disclosure: I hated breastfeeding.
There is a plethora of scientific evidence that proves that breastfeeding is the best for your baby. Here are some of the reasons why:
- It’s free
- It’s the perfect temperature
- It’s natural
- It’s free
- It boosts baby’s immune system
- It’s portable
- It’s free
- You will always have enough
- It encourages a bond with baby
- It’s free
- It has the perfect amount of nutrition
- It’s free
Did I mention it is free? The purpose of women having breasts is to feed babies.
That being said, I found it to be stressful, painful, time consuming, and involved many tears from the baby and me.
Not every woman produces milk.
Not every baby is able to nurse.
Not every parent gives birth to their baby.
Not every baby is raised by the person who gives birth to them.
The most important thing you can do is feed your baby. Whether it is from a breast or from a bottle of formula, a baby being fed is always the best option. Baby formulas are created to provide nutrients very close to those created by breastmilk.
If you wanted to breastfeed, you tried it, and it did not work out, you are not a failure.
